Miroslaw (Mike) Polanski, Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Polanski or Dr. Mike, as he is known to his patients, has been serving the Carroll Gardens community since 2004 when he established Families First Chiropractic. His approach to healing is to use Chiropractic to encourage healthy and active lifestyle in his patients.
From providing ergonomic advice for new mothers to rehabilitating sports injuries and healing chronic back problems, he relies on Chiropractic manipulation, soft tissue techniques like myofascial release technique (MRT), various physical therapy modalities like ESTIM, Ultrasound, stretching, and active care exercises to provide gentle and effective treatment.
He has extensive experience treating classical maladies such as chronic back and neck pain, arthritic joints and chronic headaches as well as fibromyalgia and joint pain in hands and feet. Dr. Mike has received specialized training to treat women during and after pregnancy as well as young children for chronic ear infections, torticollis and colic.
Dr. Mike is very involved in the community, serving as the President of the Court Street Merchants Association (CSMA), and as an executive member of Carroll Gardens Neighborhood Association (CGNA). He is also a frequent visitor at the Eileen Dugan Senior Citizens Center, where he leads movement classes for seniors. While earning his Chiropractic degree, he helped establish a free chiropractic health care clinic in Tijuana, Mexico.
Dr. Polanski received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Baruch College earned the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic at Southern California University of Health Sciences. He continued his education becoming certified in the Webster Technique, Graston Technique (M1) and certified from the Academy of Family Practice (CACCP)
